The primary responsibility of the Manager, Career Services is to place students and graduates in jobs directly related to the field. The Manager, Career Services supervises all aspects of the Career Services Office (CSO) specifically, placement of graduates, cultivating employer relationships and generating employment opportunities for graduates in their academic fields of study. The primary responsibility of the Manager, Career Services is to place students and graduates in jobs directly related to the field. The Manager, Career Services is responsible for management of all placement processes in order to meet the school’s placement goals and to ensure that the school adheres to professional standards and policies in all aspects of student placement and accreditations requirements. The Manager, Career Services will be responsible for overseeing and counseling students and alumni in career planning skills and job search strategies, coordination of training skills workshops and career forums, management of the on-campus interviewing, development of relationships with potential employers, and developing effective working relationships with students, alumni, staff and other placement professionals.
Responsible for job fairs - duties include school registration, advertisement, distribution of student registration materials, collection and transmittal of resumes and application materials, maintenance of list of participating students, receipt and distribution of interview schedules, all communications with job fair coordinator, familiarity with deadlines, and on-site responsibilities
