    The Director of Institutional Effectiveness must wear multiple hats, being able to juggle responsibilities relating to the development, enhancement and maintenance of information resources of all types to support decision making, strategic planning and initiatives;  Coordinates and facilitates the development and implementation of strategic and operational assessment, planning and budgeting at the institutional, school, unit and departmental levels; campus-wide assessment and accreditation efforts, and analyses for institutional effectiveness and academic program review. He or she will act as independent review and evaluation specialist to ensure that student outcomes, academic effectiveness and regulatory/compliance concerns are being appropriately evaluated and addressed.  Additionally he/she additionally reviews regulatory standards to ensure that the University policies and procedures are current and relevant.


    • Develops methods for gathering, tracking, and maintaining information
    • Consults with the IT department to develop and maintain database solutions and implementation of new information technologies in support of institutional research needs and evaluates key performance indicators of institutional-wide effectiveness.
    • Facilitates institutional research activities in the management, analysis, interpretation and reporting of various data and information used internally in institutional planning and assessment.
    • Manages research, planning and analysis of institutional and/or comparative data used to support and enhance evidence-based decisions making and policy formation in areas such as strategic planning, resource allocation, enrollment management, fiscal management, institutional effectiveness and outcomes assessment.
    • Ensures that University programs, processes, reports and policies comply with published standards and are consistent with current best practices.
    • Fulfills data and informational needs to support strategic and institutional planning efforts and decisions making at multiple levels of the University organizational structure.

    • Master’s degree required; Doctorate’s degree preferred
    • Minimum of 7 years experience in leadership positions in higher education
    • Previous experience with institutional research, program evaluation, strategic planning, institutional effectiveness and campus planning
    • Familiarity with regulatory guidance pertinent to for profit education
    • Previous experience leading university academic rules and regulations
